Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Communicate with HQ in China and coordinate the module delivery from China to EU and from EU to our project sites or from China to the project site directly.
  • Prepare all necessary technical and logistic documents for the module and other components shipment
  • Work together with logistic companies to perform the custom clearance
  • Work closely with project manager and site manager to schedule the on time material delivery of components from different suppliers, and continually monitor and adjust the delivery plan to meet the construction site needs.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with engineer team and project manager for cost forecast and negotiation before starting the project
  • Finalize the project cost breakdown for management review prior to starting the project
  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize the payment terms and conditions
  • Continually update the cost forecast during the construction phase and finalize the real cost sheet when the project finished
  • Manage the project related invoices and organize them properly
  • Prepare the payment plan based on the cash flow conditions for upcoming invoices

 

Qualifications:

 

  • University degree with the major in supply chain or logistics
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in the field of supply chain or logistics, logistics and the custom clearance in EU
  • High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with strong self-motivation, and delivering advice
  • Clear, logical and well-reasoned written and oral communication skills

 

Language Skill:

 

  • Good German and English in speaking and writing 
  • Fluent in Chinese is a big plus

  • Principal Responsibilities:

Senior PV Engineering Manager/Director

Summary of Position

 

 

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager or Director with hands on PV system design experience including transformers, invertors, LW and MV disconnects and switchgear systems, enclosures, SCADA components, auxiliary power units, cables and more. This position will be responsible for defining, developing and releasing integrated solutions for photovoltaic power plant with support of internal and external engineering resources.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 


  • Lead the engineering team in translating customer desires into engineering (design drawings, specifications and approvals) documentation and lead project design reviews in the region as required
  • Translate the investor’s vision into design solutions and technical parameters and ensure our offering meets the criteria
  • Collect customer feedback on design proposals and convey key messages when meeting with customers
  • Develop cost reduction strategies through innovation in system designs and engineering, applying value engineering, constructability and task analysis initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory approval requirements are identified for all regional aspects and grid connection
  • Support the creation of cost calculations for quotations. Prepare necessary pre-sales technical documents in conjunction with the Business Development and Project Management teams.
  • Provide technical support to project management team for pre and post installation phases, and ensure regional field quality issues are managed

 

 

Qualifications

 

  •  

    Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering required (Master degree is preferred)

  • Must have 5 years of PV system design engineering experience and additional 5 years of engineering management experience (large multi-national company experience a big plus)
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of PV Power Plant design and Grid Standards
  • Must have in-depth understanding of electrical power plant design and power electronics systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of Grid simulation software like DIgSILENT PowerFactory or PSCAD, and AutoCAD
  • Deep working knowledge of relevant industry standards, such as DIN EN, NEC, IEEE, UL, IEC, ANSI. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings is a must
  • Up to date with current PV technology trends, and PV design best practice
  • Must possess strong cross-cultural relationship building and influencing abilities internally and externally at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work and communicate in an international environment in different countries
  • Must have the ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external engineering resources from varied and diverse backgrounds
  • Require strong leadership, communication, problem solving, initiative, and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English and one of European languages (Spanish speaking is a plus)
  • Position requires travel: willing and able to travel (up to 25%)

Summary of Position

 

 

The Financial Controller oversees the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the companies finance function is organised and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Finance Administration

     

    • Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Finance Dept.

    • Co-ordinate and prepare annual budgets, including operating and capital expenditure budgets.
    • In conjunction with the COO, ensure that business cash flow adequately supports company work activities and produces optimal results.
    • On monthly basis track and review expenditure against set budgets providing Directors with a “budget inconsistencies report”.

 

  • People Management

     

    • Make self available as coach / mentor in assisting direct reports to develop in their positions.
    • Ensure that relevant information is communicated to direct reports enabling them to effectively carry out their functions.
    • Complete KPI assessment of direct reports within Company specified time frame.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Knowledge of DATEV Program (Kreditorenbuchung, Debitorenbuchung
  • Knowledge of Wirtschaftspruefung practices and principles;
  • Knowledge of Deutsche Steuerrecht & EU Steuerrecht
  • Knowledge of Jahresabschluss
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice;
  • Positive ‘Can-do’ attitude.

Summary of Position

 

 

EPC Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager with strong technical and commercial background in asset management and O&M of commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects, he or she will contribute substantially to the development of the O&M strategy and business plans, negotiation of the contract with potential customers, starting up the O&M operations for won contracts and successfully managing and monitoring O&M services globally. In this position, he or she will lead a multi-disciplined Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team to manage commercial and utility scale solar projects in different countries.

Staff and effectively manage O&M personnel and local sub-contractors who perform operations, maintenance, inspection, warranty and/or troubleshooting activities. Set O&M goals and ensure that targets are met. Maintain O&M Policies and Procedures. Major duties include, but are not limited to, contract negotiation and administration, reviewing and maintaining O&M records, oversight and mentoring of site O&M Technicians, and local sub-contractors.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

 

  • Develop and setup the O&M service globally
  • Provide engineering judgment to complex system issues
  • Oversee all Warranty & Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities on commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects
  • Oversee sales support for warranty & Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts to ensure profitability targets and contract due diligence
  • Scheduling and managing maintenance, module washing and repairs
  • Monitoring of assets from a technical and commercial perspective
  • Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) matters on-site
  • Commercial management of asset (invoicing customers for energy services or Renewable Energy Credit (REC) sales)
  • On-site visits and systems verifications
  • Strengthen the network of Service Providers (SP)
  • Draft and coordinate Request for Proposals (RFP) submissions, contract negotiations and final contracts with Service Providers (SP)
  • Oversee all performance management and reporting activities
  • Calculate, analyze, and report PV system energy and financial performance (energy output, system losses, soiling, performance ratio, insolation ratio, P&L calculations, and liquidated damages [LD]calculations)
  • Create annual plant operating budgets – revenues and expenditures
  • Manage commissioning & handover process of projects from project delivery to asset management
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the O&M offer to customers
  • After Sales claim management
  • Accountable for “key customer” after sales customer experience
  • Resolve warranty claims
  • Stakeholder management
  • Close working relationships with sales, EPC, quality, finance, legal and marketing to ensure the successful running of the asset management business in different countries
  • Ensure all departmental performance targets are met in accordance with the Board’s strategies
  • Oversee and manage departmental budget and expenditure

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering (MSc Advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years of O&M management experience in renewable energy industry (solar PV experience preferred)
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detecting realistic solutions
  • Willingness to travel to local sites
  • On-site DD (due diligence and O&M (operations & maintenance) management experience
  • Commercial contract negotiation delivery experience
  • Practical experience in safety
  • Must have a good knowledge of design, O&M, reliability and performance of PV systems
  • Practical experience with solar systems and components
  • Fluent in English and one of European languages
