ET Solar Electric, which belongs to the ET Solar Group, began production of monocrystalline silicon and monocrystalline wafers on the 27^th of October 2007.

The total capacity of monocrystalline will now increase to around 100 tons per year. In addition, new production lines of polycrystalline silicon and wafers will start at the beginning of 2008. This will increase ET Solar’s module capacity production and ease their pressure, which has been due to the lack of raw materials. This has quickly led to an increase of prices for polycrystalline silicon and wafers throughout the industry. All solar module manufacturers have been confronted with big pressure to absorb this increase and thus resulting in lower profit margins. With good future planning ET Solar has been able to solve its own problem of raw materials production. And, ET Solar is now looking to a much brighter future with the next stage of their expansion program in place and working well.
