ET Solar Group announced today a 6.6MW module sales contract with a leading Italian lighting equipment provider.  

Under the contract, during the period between May 2008 and February 2009, ET Solar will ship a total of 6.6 MW modules to be mounted on rooftop, single-axis trackers with ET Solar as a joint designer and manufacturer. The trackers are designed to operate on both residential and commercial rooftops and can generate 15-20% more power than the fixed tilt arrays, achieving lower unit cost on both per watt and per kilo watt hour basis.
