Appointment of Jeff Lu as Chief Technology Officer

ET Solar Group Corp. (¡°ET Solar¡±), a Nanjing-based integrated manufacturer of photovoltaic products including ingots, wafers, modules, and state-of-the-art dual-axis tracking systems with manufacturing facilities located in Taizhou, China, announced today that it has appointed Dr. Jeff Lu as its new Chief Technology Officer (¡°CTO¡±) effective immediately.

With over 12 years of experience in solar industry, Dr. Lu brings over extensive expertise in PV product development, manufacturing and engineering and operational management with leading technology companies in the United States. Immediately before joining ET Solar, he worked at Daystar Technologies as the Senior Director of Product Development, focusing on the development of GICS solar cells and modules for 3 years. Prior to that, he functioned as the Director of Operations at Advanced Photonic Integrated Circuits, where he was mainly responsible for the development of solar concentrators. Furthermore, Dr. Lu holds six pending PV patents on efficiency improvement, module manufacturing and encapsulation materials.

Xinghua Wang, Chairman of ET Solar, commented: "We are very pleased to have Jeff join us as the Chief Technology Officer. Given his wide breath of experience on new product commercialization, quality control and improvement, and specifically module encapsulation and concentrator technologies, I have every reason to believe that Jeff will be a very significant contributor to the execution of ET Solar's differentiated business model and downstream driven growth strategy. In a complementary role as Chief Scientist, Dr. Linhui Sui, will be partnering with Jeff and the rest of the team in developing new downstream products, and formulating and executing our R&D roadmap."

Dr. Lu remarked: ¡°I am very excited to join ET Solar as Chief Technology Officer. Being an integrated solar play that focuses on the downstream part of the value chain, ET Solar offers a strong growth platform as the industry¡¯s ultimate raw material supply becomes less of an issue over time. Developing a wide array of downstream products is therefore essential to the long term sustainability of a company¡¯s growth, and this is exactly what I am particularly strong at and very much committed to.¡±

Dr. Lu received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Fu-Jen University in Taipei, Taiwan, and his Master and Ph.D. in Industrial, System, and Welding Engineering from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
