ET Solar introduces its first US Tracker Installation Training

ET Solar, a leading global manufacturer of solar modules and tracking systems, introduces its first US training and installation of the ET-D80 tracker.

This all day, hands-on training, will take place on August 27th in Delano, CA and will cover the overall installation of the ET-D80 Tracker. Attendees will see the preparation of materials, the actual installation of the tracker and the connection to the grid. In addition, ET Solar will touch on the planned preventive maintenance operations that should be performed periodically on the system and components.

A solar tracking system is a device for orienting a solar panel towards the sun. The ET-D80 is a state of the art dual-axis solar tracking system, offering great configuration and operation flexibilities. It increases production of photovoltaic solar power up to 40% over fixed installations. Jointly developed and manufactured by one of Europe¡¯s top tracker producers, Meca Solar, with over 100 MW to date installed.

ET trackers offer following benefits: fast installation with pre-wired electrics, never ¡°confused¡± tracking with Siemens PLC astronomical program, remote tracker monitor and control reducing maintenance cost, Very flexible land requirement with no ground penetration and land grading, automatic anti-theft text message warning, and marine and desert versions for more challenging environment.

ET Trackers have been designed to withstand even extremely high wind forces. In case of winds greater than 70 km per hour (or 43 mph), the tracker will adjust itself to position the modules horizontally into "safety mode". D80 tracker has maximum wind load of 145 km per hour (or 90 mph).
